SFZ3 Juli with Cammy

These are 2 of Cammy's other SF Zero 3 appearances. As the right hand of Vega, personal bodyguard, assassin, spy, and all around super soldier, Cammy is a busy girl!! No time for high school, or any of that normal 16 year old girl stuff... Cammy's got many important people to kill for her master...

Anyhow, she makes a brief appearance as Charlie's mid-boss. And as far as Juli goes, her whole mission and life revolves around her fellow Doll, Cammy.

Looks like my old X-Men vs Street Fighter team isn't getting along so well anymore. Anyhow, there's one issue I really need to address about Cammy and SF Zero 3.... She's not a freakin' robot!!! What the hell is wrong with Capcom? Why do they make her talk like that? There's nothing in Cammy's storyline that even hints to being a robot. She's totally genetically modified. And she's been brainwashed, but all this robot speak is just silly. I'm sick of Capcom's half-assed storylines and character portrayals!

So, with that out of the way... I suppose Cammy has been ordered to assassinate Charlie because he's been looking into Shadowloo activities. You'll also see that Charlie is pretty surprised by Cammy's age... she's only 16! Anyhow, here it is...

Okay, now more notes about Cammy, Charlie, SFZ3, and all that stuff...

Somehow Charlie wins the fight, but then what does he do with Cammy? Don't you kinda get the impression that he rushed right off to get Shadowloo, left Cammy lying there on the ground! Or, maybe he has her arrested. Either way, nothing from this really fits into Cammy's real storyline very well.

That's the problem with this game - all the storylines are totally independent. Actually, that's fine, but the fact that so many of them contradict one another is really annoying! Compared to the programming, and all that, the storylines are no work at all! There's no excuse to do a half-assed job. Moreover, just as a good storyline helps make a character great (Cammy), and bad or half-assed storyline can really hurt characters too (Ryu, Chun Li, et all).

This is a little complex, because most of Juli's storyline is still a giant mystery, so I don't know where to begin with her...

Here's my take on her and her storyline... like Cammy, she's one of 12 enhanced Shadowloo soldiers known as "Dolls". Cammy is not only the original, but she also rose above the rest to take a special position as Vega's personal bodyguard and assistant. From everything I've seen, Cammy doesn't get along with Juni and Juli at all. So, when Juli is assigned to take out Cammy, I'm sure she's more than happy to try.

Another point which you may not know, is that T Hawk seems to recognize her as Julia. But that whole situation is still unclear. She could have been kidnapped from T Hawk, or she could have infiltrated T Hawk's tribe as a member of Shadowloo. Who knows. And who really cares?! T Hawk is the lamest SF character ever! Juli is only important as far as Cammy goes.

Juli's SFZ3 ending (with Cammy!)

After Juli thinks she's taken Cammy out, she returns to Vega. However, she learns that her special enhancements have shortened her life, and that she will soon die. She takes this news as a threat and attacks Vega! After winning, this is her ending...

	Guh...! The power of my Psycho Drive is weakening? How... How could something disposable like you... I thought I was the only one who could control the Psycho Drive?! It's too late anyway! If I perish... You shall perish as well!
	Brain waves... Abnormal...
	Don't ever dream that you could live... as a human! Gwaaaaah!
	Blood pressure abnormal... Exceeding limit... Guunnh!!
	...Have you awakened?
	Ah... Where am I? Who... are you? I'm Cammy, I'm an enhanced soldier, like yourself... Listen... Your body's cells are on the verge of exploding! ...What? What... do you mean? To stop it, we have no choice but to use the machine. Hurry... Time is running out.
	Everything is going to be okay... I'm the only one... who can activate the Psycho Drive now... And... Only one can survive... ...You will survive... and live...

Okay, so now we're still stuck with the mystery of what the heck happens after all this. Like I said before, the SF storylines are crap, and they do not make any attempts to make sense - they are very short sighted.

We know that Juli never shows up in any SF games again. Nor do any of the other Dolls. Cammy however does, and you know about her amnesia, going to England, and all that. Anyhow, this ending leaves us with 2 big questions... What happens to Juli and the Dolls? What ends up happening to Cammy - the events that lead up to her going to England?
